McCoy Contractors’ own Vitor Almeida is gearing up for an 800-mile charity bike ride from Edinburgh to Dublin, alongside the London Scottish Rugby team. The challenge aims to raise vital funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, supporting research into Motor Neurone Disease (MND) - a cause close to his heart.
The Doddie’s Triple Crown Challenge supports MND research, grants, and care. The 2026 event will run from 10–13 March, covering all four UK nations. The route begins in Melrose, travels through Leeds and Gloucester, continues to Fishguard for an overnight ferry to Rosslare, before finishing in Dublin.
McCoy Contractors are proud to sponsor Vitor as he takes on this remarkable journey in aid of such an important cause.
